Christmas is a
time of hope and cheer and joyfulness. A time when families and friends come from far and near to gather together and
share the love and peace and harmony that permeate the holiday season. It is a time when,
hopefully, hatred and animosity can be put aside for a brief interlude while all the world
joins together to celebrate this season of goodwill.
May God keep watch over all of our
family and friends who are unable to be home for the holidays and may the
peace and blessings of the season be with all of them wherever they are. May
they know that they are loved and their presence will be missed as we gather
in our homes to decorate the tree, sing carols around the piano and share a
wonderful bounty of holiday food. May He keep them safe from harm and bring
them home soon.
