Many times Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has spoken about the importance of six airbags in cars. Recently, Gadkari said the ministry was working to make six airbags mandatory in all cars.

“The same manufacturers put 6 airbags when they export these cars. So why do you only put 4 airbags in Indian cars? Don’t our lives have value? An airbag only costs Rs 900 and when the number increases, the cost will only go down,” the minister said recently.
