She further states, “Various research suggests health benefits of consuming healthy fats first thing in the morning:

1. Healthy fats help maintain better blood sugar control. Because there are no carbohydrates present, there is no resulting rise in blood sugar. In addition, it improves insulin resistance.

2. Good fats help mobilize stored fat for use as an energy source and provide satiety which helps control appetite. Thus, can help with weight management.

3. It works great for improving hormonal health and aiding nutrient absorption and also helps improve the intestinal lining.

4. Apart from this, fats have various important roles in our body like mental development, temperature regulation and many more.

She ends by listening to some sources of healthy fasts. She says, “Several options to consider as a big first thing in the morning are:

  • Soaked Almonds/Walnuts/Cashews
  • cold pressed coconut oil
  • A2 cow ghee (also helps to treat constipation)
  • Pieces of coconut”
