Many celebrities and the artists pay homage to the late Bob Saget who died Sunday at the age of 65. Pete Davidson also paid tribute and spoke about how Saget had helped him with “tough mental health stuff.”

Davidson’s tribute was shared via Saturday Night Live writer Dave Sirius Instagram. There he said that in his friendship with Saget he had known him as “one of the nicest men on the planet” and that he took the time to help him and his family to dealing with his mental health issues when he was younger.

Pete Davidson, 28, was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, he revealed in September 2017. He said he started experiencing symptoms a year ago and that Saget would stay on the phone with his mother for hours trying to help by giving encouragement and putting the family in touch with professionals who could help her.

Bob Saget was found dead in his Ritz-Carlton hotel room in Orlando on Sunday afternoon. The day before, he had completed a two-hour set in Jacksonville. the immediate results of an autopsy showed that there was no evidence of drug use or criminal act in the artist’s death, but it could take 10 to 12 weeks for a definitive cause of death to be confirmed .
